Financial Benefits of Scholarships
The Google Conference Scholarships 2024 offer comprehensive financial support to selected recipients. The following benefits are provided:
- Conference Registration: The cost of conference registration will be fully covered.
- Recipients will be granted a $100 USD stipend to offset miscellaneous travel expenses.
- Round Trip Travel: One round trip travel (transportation) to and from the conference site will be arranged.
- Hotel Accommodation: Hotel accommodation for the duration of the conference will be provided as discussed directly with the accepted candidates.
It is important to note that travel and hotel arrangements should not be made at the applicant’s own cost, as Google’s travel agency, AmexGBT, will handle the booking of hotel rooms on behalf of the recipients. Any reservations made outside of AmexGBT will not be compensated.

For Africa:

- Must be full-time students enrolled in an accredited African university in need of conference travel funding.
- Must have an accepted paper at a prestigious conference in computer science.
- Must publish the accepted paper as the only author or co-author.
- Google employees, residents of embargoed countries, and individuals subject to applicable export controls and sanctions programs are not eligible to apply.
For Asia Pacific (APAC):
To be eligible for a travel grant to attend an international Computer Science research conference, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be full-time students from a recognized university in the country where the travel grants are offered and in need of conference travel funds.
- Must be the main author of the accepted paper.
