MOFA Taiwan Fellowship 2025 (Fully Funded)

Applications are now open for the MOFA Taiwan Fellowship 2025. This fellowship, sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Taiwan, is a fully funded opportunity for international scholars. Eligible applicants include Foreign Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, Post-Doctoral researchers, Doctoral Candidates, and Doctoral program students. The fellowship supports research at universities or academic institutions in Taiwan, focusing on topics related to Taiwan, cross-strait relations, the Asia-Pacific region, or Sinology (Chinese studies).

Over 1,400 researchers from more than 93 countries have been accepted into the program. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs provides comprehensive funding, including round-trip airfare, a generous monthly stipend, and accident and medical coverage. Fellowship Benefits

  • Monthly grants are disbursed at the beginning of each month:
  • Professors, Associate Professors, Research Fellows, or Associate Research Fellows receive NT$60,000.
  • Assistant Professors, Assistant Research Fellows, or Doctoral Candidates receive NT$50,000.
  • Coverage includes accident insurance and medical insurance for accidental injuries.

Eligibility Criteria for MOFA Taiwan Fellowship 2025

The MOFA Taiwan Fellowship is open to Professors, Associate Professors, Research Fellows, Associate Research Fellows, Assistant Professors, Assistant Research Fellows, and Doctoral Candidates.
